Pun-lice: this microscopic, invasive insectile-worm lives in a human host’s scalp, slowly burrowing deep into the host’s cranial cavity. They tend to congregate in the frontal lobe, generally in the left hemisphere (also know as Broca’s area, or the speech center). This causes the host to eventually confuse certain words for similar sounding words, but often with opposite or contradictory connotation. The host will often find this humorous, though it is still unknown as to why. The host’s friends try to explain that this is not funny, but eventually grow weary of the near gibberish and abandon the host, who grows more and more hermit-like. In the final stages of pun-lice infection, the host has developed severe agoraphobia and limits its social interaction to posting on internet forums, exclusively in the form of comments it believes are witty, but are really just poorly thought out and obnoxious. Pun-lice infections are often called “The Sinclair Madness” after the patient zero, October Sinclair. XD Leave a Reply Cancel reply You must be logged in to post a comment.
