I think the use of (whatever the fuck you call those premade patterns) was better in this one, but at this time I think it is still a step down from simple shading by hand. As you work with them more I think it’ll improve though.

I like this. My only critique would be maybe cleaning it up a little more, making it a little sharper. I think this can be done to a solid degree without losing the hand-drawn element.
